QUINCY, Plumas County — October 26, 2026. Plumas County Public Health Agency announced new recruitment outreach today for positions supporting health services across the rural county. Its October 26 notice highlights opportunities for licensed vocational nurses, registered nurses, public health administrative staff and program leaders.

Which positions are being advertised?

The county announcement lists a Public Health Administrative Services Officer, Public Health Assistant Director, Public Health Program Division Chief, and Public Health LVN and RN positions. The agency says it is looking for applicants with experience in public health, nursing or administration, depending on the position.

These are not all necessarily entry-level openings. Applicants should check the actual job specification for required California professional licenses, education, experience, work schedule and salary. A social-media recruitment notice does not guarantee each role remains open after a listed closing date or that every candidate qualifies.

Where to apply

The county directs interested residents to its official employment openings and application portal, rather than private websites that may repost outdated jobs. The Public Health Agency can be contacted at 530-283-6337 for general questions; check the job listing for the appropriate hiring contact.
